PART 1

Helana. Helana was a pretty girl. A girl that had blue eyes, light skin, tall, thin and long I mean to the butt of Helana was her hair . She went to high school were looks were everything. She had lots of friends and they were all girls with bobs. In her group she had the longest hair, straightest and thickest hair. And in the whole school for that matter.

Helana's family consisted of a Mom, Dad and her brother Tony. They looked like a perfect family except for her mom.

Helana's mother is a very up tight mother but was cool around Helana's and Tony's friends. But when company wasn't around she was a strict mother with rules. The men in the family had to have a hair line up to the colar of there shirts and women had to have there hair in a bun or braids. Also they had to cook and clean. But what was the biggest thing in the house was the hair.

Once Helana' s mom and dad went on a month long trip to Paris for there 2nd honeymoon in the last 16 years because of the kids. And when they came back Helana's mom measured Tony's hair and it passed his collar by a centimeter and then next day he had nothin as tall as a centimeter on his head.
Dureing the school hours Helana would take her hair out of the bun or braids and let her hair lose and free and she loved it. And everyone loved it. They would play withit at lunch and Helana enjoyed it.

PART 2

On a Friday in May when the weather was kind of cold because they lived in Vermont and the school year ended in three weeks and Helana would become a senior and a gradute of the class of 2009.

She was cold one evening and put her hair down as usual and it made her all warm all over even her butt got warm because she was wearing shorts well she was walking home were her last hair tie fell out into a oil slick in the road were someone parked there car and she could not get it because it blew away at the last secound.

" OH NO " she cried. " My mom is going to kill me or worst. " All the thoughts went into her head what might happen like what happened to her brother.

She got home to find no one home. She saw a note leftby here mom saying this.

Dear Children,
I am out at the grocery store. I dont no when I will be back because of the teenage raga muffins bagging the grecerys so I may be a while. Please follow rules and cook us the spagettie in the cabinet. Remember your father will be home at 6:00 pm sharp and Hair must be in order and look sharp.

"Ok that may buy me sometime." She thought to her self. So She thought that she could go to the coner store but it took 15minutes to get there on foot and she totaled her bike last year. And besides she had to wait till her brother to get home from a Soccer meet and her father will be home any minute.

She was doomed as she looked through her stuff and not one hair tie she could find. She doesn't dare go in her parents room to get one from her mom because they were to small for her hair. She tried rubber ands but they would snap and breack or get stuck in her hair. She tried string and yarn but it didn't work and any ways it was to late. A man steped in the door with a grocery bag, a boy with a ball in one hand and a women behind the boy. They were home.

Part 3

Helana was scared because she saw the silver lincoln sports car and the blue Mazda 5 in the driveway. She thought that the smell of spaggetti would be the last smell she would smell and the last sound would be her cries for help.

"Helana we are home." said her mom.

" Come down the food smells wonderfull " Said her dad.

Helana thought of a plan of wearing a hoodie and hideing her hair but all of her winter stuff was in the attic. Then she thought of not comeing down and saying she was sick but then her mom's motherly instinct was to go up there and check on her every 5 secounds. She was doomed. So then she thought maybe her dad would understand but then she would think he would say you could have called your mother on her cell or me to go pick them up for you.
After that thought she slaped her head and said "Why didn't I think of that ."

She had to go down and face the truth. So she went down and tried to get out of her mothers way of her eye. At dinner she said nothing that would bring attention to her and that worked perfectly.

When dinner ended she as going to be the last one up from the table but that did not work because she was the one to get the desert at the end. She got up and backed up slowly like she was doin the moon walk. But there was one slight problem it was a heavy pie and she had to get plates from the shelf. She jumped up and downand her mother turned around and got wacked in the face with Helana's hair.

Helana was embarresed and ran up to her room ashamed at what happened. After that happened her perents ran up stairs and barged into Helana's room and let Helana explain her story but they actually said what helana thought of doing like calling them.

They gave her a punishment unlike any other she had to get her Haircut. And the appointment was on saturday.

Part 4

Helana's appointment was at 3:00 on a saturday. Helana had 6 hours to say good bye to it. She had no idea what she would get. It was then the moment of truth 2:30 time to go. She got into the car and brought a thing to calm her down; a sleeping pill so that she wouldn't see and her mother didn't see.

They got there and the sign read "Becky's hair". In big bold pink letters. No one was in there because of the hours but her mom paid extra to keep it opened for 2 hours. The place only had a one way mirror in the front so costumers can see out into the park across the way.

Helana was asleep when they arrived and her mother had to pick her up and carry her in and placed her on a wash station were Becky said to put her.

Helana got her hair wash and then carried to the snip station.

Becky out of breath said "Welcome you must be Ms.Raymon I am Becky. Well I guess she is Helana. So what can we do for her."

" Ummmm " Said her Helana's Mom. "See this is a punishment and i hope you don't get mad i need it short and I don't want to seem bossy but I will say when to stop. First cut off 2 feet and we wil go from there. Also give it to locks of love please thanks."

The butchering began. She first put the robe on. Then a cloth around Helana's neck. She put Helana's hair in a pony tail. And then SNIP! SNIP! SNIP!
Helana's hair flown down and laid upon her shoulders and she was still asleep. Becky handed Helana's mom the tail of her Daughter. Becky then asked "Is that it."

"No. Bangs up to the middle of her eyes. " she said.

Snip. Snip. The siccors went across her face.stoping near the the ends of the eyes. Becky looked at Helana's mother and showed her Helana. Beckey did a great bob to Helana but her mother said shorter in the back. She took the siccors about to cut then she moved up and up and up until the siccors went up to her jaw bone. Helana's mom nodded and the siccors started again. Now Helana has a very short bob. Becky turned her around and showed the mom the work.

"Up to the end of here ear." She said.

Becky did as she was told and showed her the work. At this time she showed her work it was 5:00. She was done and Helana was still asleep.
Helana's mom said "shorter" Becky moved the siccors to the end of soft part of Helana's ear. "Shorter" Helana's mom said. The siccors went to the middle of her ear. She cut it. It was the shortest bob she ever cut. And Becky was worried. But then she thought it was for a punishment and kept doing it to Helana's mothers command.

" I want it to her new bangs." she said.

" Do you want the bangs maybe a little short to make sure it is even?" Becky said.

" Yes that would be perfect." She said.

" What did she do to deserve this?" Becky asked.

" She broke a major house rule, Lied about like kept it a secret and then wacked me with her hair. I was mad and I think it as time for change and I did it because my mom used to do this to me, as my father did it. See my mom was a stylist and my father was a butcher. So this is why i do these punishments."

She said with tears in her eyes.

As her speeched ended Becky wanted to ask a question but didn't ask it but to her 0 inch blade and showed Helana's mom. Helana's mom nodded yes and the show began.

Becky started to the left then right and the little peices of 2 centimeters of hairs on to the floor. Soon came out the cool shaveing cream and was lathered on the back of Helana's neck. The straight razor came and started a smooth road on the back of her neck and got wider and wider. Until it was over.
Helana finished her punishment.

Part 5

On Sunday night the sleeping pill wore off and it was 11:00pm and Helana woke up she went to get half a capsual she was a little more colder then usual but she didn't care and then she feel asleep.

The next Day was a school day and Helana had to wake up at 6:00 to get dressed, eat her meal, makeup and her once flowing locks. Helana had not seen here butchered haircut or felt it. She was excited because she felt lighter and thought she would look like her bobed haired friends. Well she ate her meal and was about to get dressed she put on a nice denim skirt with leggings and a cute graphic tee. She wore this out fit before and thought she didn't have to look at what she looked like.

She walked into her bathroom to do her hair and makeup she looked in the mirror and all in the house people heard. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" the screams woke up her brother and was heard by her mom and dad downtairs in the kitchen.

"Well i guess she saw it." Said the dad.

" Well i guess i have to talk to her." Said her mom.

Her mom walked up the stairs and walked into the bathroom were her daughter was in the tub crying. Helana looked up at her mom with a raged look upon her face.

"What did you do." said Helana

"well." Said her mom.

" What did you do! What did you do!" Helana said while hitting her mom. " I now have a bowl cut because of you. I hate you. I look like a five year old boy."

"Well you have school so get down before your late." Said her mom.

At school she went to tell her friends about her awful butchered hair. She was scared what they would say about her hair. And they thought she was a foreign exchange student until she said who she really was. They felt really bad and gave her a hat to hide her shame. They also went to the nurse to get a note and the nurse gave her one. Her friends stuck bye her thru anything and started to hang out with her more. Helana told them that her mom did it. And when they came over her house that day they wore there hair down.

That weekend the girls had a sleep over and thought to fix helana's hair the first cut the bangs above her browl so that she could have a nice little bob so it doest seem weird. Now her bangs were three inches and her still bowlcut four inches .

The next week people noticed her bob and kind of liked it. No one got the style except Helana's group and now boys were all over them . But Helana thought it looked silly.

"Well guys we have a day of Wensday so lets have a sleepover and fix our hair up a little bit." Said Helana

And the whole group agreed. So on thursday the group came in with Pixecuts. And with there hair strecked with blonds and black highlights. more footballl guys had girlfriends now. Helana and her friends found out boys like edge girl. So when the last school weekend came the girls shaved there heads clean off. And for some strange reason the parents didn't care. Now they loved the cut and the girls were all in the yearbook for shortest hair while they kept Helana for longest hair.

Ten Years later

Helana and her friends all married there football heros and had kids of there own.

Helana's Brother Tony uses the punishment that was used on him to his kids and then he stopped after he gave his daughter and wife the treatment. Tony is also a pro soccer player and played in the olympics twice.

Helana's mom found herself breaking a rule and gave herslf a short bowlcut and hated it.

Helana Grew her hair out passed her knees until she couldn't take it any more and shaved it off. She dosen't use punishement on her children.

Becky opened up three more stores. and calls bowlcuts the sleepy Helana.

Helana's dad got a divorce and married Becky.
