Fay loves her long hair, it never displeased,
It is auburn and down to her knees.
Her mother said ?it?s time for a haircut,?
The fate of Fay?s long, long hair is clear cut.
Her mother and Fay hopped into the car,
They drive down the to the store near the bizarre.
They walk into Donna and Dave?s salon,
Donna is ready, soon Fay is called on.
Fay sat in the chair, she sat unaware
That Donna had an idea for her hair.
She asked Fay to rise, with scissors in hand,
And cut all of Fay?s long hair, every strand.
Fay cried as the red cascade hits the ground,
All the hair fell with a thunderous sound.
All of the weight on Fay?s shoulder is gone,
Fay sat back in the chair, feeling withdrawn.
She looked at her hair, it?s hacked to the neck,
It?s clear to Fay that her hair is a wreck.
The sound of scissors raced passed her ear,
The close, quick sound confirmed all of Fay?s fears.
Her mother had asked Donna for a bob,
Donna just kept cutting doing her job.
Fay heard the clippers, she grabbed tight her seat,
They ran on Fay?s nape and started to eat.
Donna whipped the cape off, letting hair fly,
Fay looked at her hair, she wanted to cry.
Fay?s mother paid Donna, then they go out,
Fay loves her long hair but now she?s without.
