Megan was getting her very first haircut ever. Megan was only five year?s old but her hair grew really fast, dragged on the ground and the ends were really messy. Megan was so excited, Megan?s mom pulled up to the barber?s and said to Megan ?Honey, your hair is going to be a lot shorter then now, don?t be scared, you have to be a brave girl and don?t cry or whine, ok?? Megan nodded. They walked into the barbershop and sat down. A female barber walked over to Megan and asked ?Is this your first haircut?? Megan nodded. The female barber took Megan?s hand and they walked over to her chair. The female barber got a booster sit and helped Megan into the chair. She walked over to Megan?s mom and Megan sat there looking at her reflection. The barber walked back to Megan and asked her to get out of the chair, the barber helped her out and turned the chair towards the front. The barber picked up scissors, told Megan to close her eyes, and grabbed all of Megan?s hair and cut to her shoulder. The barber picked up Megan, put her in the chair again and put the cape on her, Megan?s eyes were still closed as the barber picked her clippers and shaved a path down the middle of Megan?s head. Megan giggled as the clippers tickled her head, the barber tilted Megan?s head down and started shaving the nape of her neck. The barber rubbed Megan?s head feeling for places she missed, then she put shaving cream on Megan?s head and used a straight razor to scrap the hair off Megan?s head, the barber then used wax on Megan?s newly shaved head and asked the mother if that was okay. Megan?s mom nodded and said ?show her.? The barber turned the chair to the mirror and asked Megan to open her eyes, Megan couldn?t recognize herself as the shock wore off she started to cry. Megan?s mom walked over and asked if there was anyway to make this new haircut more permanent. The barber said she could use a depilatory which would last a month but it would burn Megan?s head, Megan?s mother said ?Do it.? The barber got the depilatory and put it on Megan?s head, Megan screamed as the pain rushed to her head. Megan?s mom held her down and the barber started to clean the depilatory off. Megan paid the barber and Megan and her mom walked out. Megan cried in the car and Megan?s mother said that when her hair reached the floor, they would do this again.
